October Bird Walk – Hawks and Owls at Reynold’s Creek
October 26, 2024 @ 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join board president, Kim Ehn, to search for a variety of raptors, including Northern Harriers and Rough-legged Hawks, and stay until after sunset to search for Short-eared Owls. The group will meet at 4:30 pm at Reynold’s Creek Game Bird Habitat (1303 600 E, Michigan City, IN 46360). Total time about 2-3 hours.
This event is free to Dunes-Calumet Audubon Society members and open to the public for a fee of the $5. Registration is required as capacity is limited. Click on tickets to register through Eventbrite.

Becoming a Dunes-Calumet Audubon Society member helps promote birding through education, conservation, and scientific research for the betterment of Northwest Indiana natural habitats. If you are a National Audubon member (donor), then you are considered a chapter member of the Dunes-Calumet Audubon Society, if you live in our service area (Lake and Porter Counties). Our chapter receives a small percentage of the money for your membership (donation) to National Audubon. You can also become a chapter member at the local level on the Dunes-Calumet Audubon Society website.
